South Des Moines Veterinary Center is among only 15% of veterinary practices throughout the United States that have made a voluntary commitment to excellence by achieving accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). During a thorough inspection, South Des Moines Veterinary Center was evaluated on more than 900 standards to ensure that our patients and clients receive the highest level of veterinarian care.
Associations
The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA) are not-for-profit organizations that serve the veterinary industry to provide continuing education opportunities, legislative, and social activities to enhance the veterinary profession.
Dr. Brenda Flaming is an executive board member (District 14, Polk County) for the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Melissa Beyer is a member of both the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
