Surgery

If your pet needs surgery, we are equipped to provide excellent care, safety, and comfort for your pet. Along with a thorough physical examination, pre-surgical blood testing is performed to minimize the risks of complications. A complete blood count (CBC) and a blood profile tests your pet for infection and checks organ function such as the liver and kidneys, to make sure they are functioning properly to undergo anesthesia.

Our surgical suite provides a heated surgery table for your pet's comfort. To ensure the highest level of safety, a surgical technician assists the doctor during the entire surgery. The technician monitors levels of anesthesia, pulse, blood pressure and oxygenation. Most surgeries are out-patient procedures, so they can return to the comfort of their own home that same day. We also provide treatment plans prior to any surgery to help our clients understand each cost and allow them to prepare financially.
