South Des Moines Veterinary Center offers complete wellness and preventive care designed for each pet's specific needs.
Pets are given a customized healthcare plan including:
- Vaccinations based on your pet's environment and exposure
- Flea, tick, heartworm, and intestinal parasite prevention
- Nutrition counseling and specialty diets
- Microchipping to ensure permanent identification
- Dermatology (skin), radiology (x-rays), and internal medicine
- Other Services: Nail trim and anal gland expression to keep your pet comfortable, urinalysis and fecal flotation to detect problems that may interfere with your pet's health and comfort

- sleeping more or becoming hyperactive,
