Professional Pet Grooming Services for Your Pet
South Des Moines Veterinary Center offers full-service pet grooming for all breeds of dogs and cats. In addition to improving your pet’s appearance, regular grooming can be beneficial to protecting your pet’s skin and coat. Our two professional groomers have more than 20 years of combined experience. We provide grooming services Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
Pet grooming services include:
- A complimentary examination by a veterinarian or technician
- Hydro-Surge bath, which cleans deep down while massaging the skin
- Nature's Specialties® Plum Silky® shampoo and conditioner
- Ears cleaned and ear hair removed as needed
- Anal glands expressed
- Nail trim
- Full body brush out
- Hair cut/trim styled to your request
- Cologne or perfume (upon request)
- Bows or bandana (upon request)
Extra services available (at an additional cost):
- Nail filing
- Nail polish
- Special medicated shampoo
- Hair dying
- Furminator® treatment
If you would like your pet to receive extra play time, we offer doggy day care for grooming clients at a discounted price. For the health and safety of all of the pets in our care, we do require all vaccinations and a current fecal test be up-to-date before grooming services are performed.
